BLUE HYDRANGEA is a table lamp from a series of four decorative lighting objects that resemble flowers to us.
It started with an inherited art deco lampshade in opal glass, formerly at the ceiling of Grandma Neuza Catalino in Tabuaço. Next, we combined the opal glass flower with a glazed ceramic base, designed especially for it.
The ceramic base was handmade in Porto, designed by us and executed by Francisco Pessegueiro's talented hands.
Both the opal lampshade and the ceramic vase are handmade; therefore, each piece is unique and may sometimes not be very upright. The ceramic glazing is not homogenous, which makes each piece unique.
The blue base upholds the glass shade that remains in place through a clamp.
